Asset Manager

Type of Work:

Magnum Electric is seeking an Asset Manager to join our team in our West Fargo office. The ideal individual is someone who has 2+ years of experience of managing company assets. In this position, you will be expected to maintain accurate records of all assets, oversee maintenance and repairs, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize asset value and minimize costs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Asset Tracking:

  • Accurately recording details of all company assets including serial numbers, purchase dates, location, and condition.
  • Implementing asset tagging and labeling systems
  • Utilizing asset management software to maintain a comprehensive asset database.

Inventory Management:

  • Performing regular physical inventory audits to verify asset counts and accuracy.
  • Monitoring asset usage and identifying potential issues like missing or damaged equipment.
  • Managing asset lifecycle, including depreciation schedules and disposal processes.
  • Maintaining documentation for asset audits and compliance requirements
General Requirements:
  • Experience:  2+ years of asset management experience
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with asset management software, database management systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in asset data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication with various stakeholders to gather information and share updates.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot asset-related issues and find solutions.
