Type of Work:

Magnum Electric is thoughtfully growing its’ business opportunities and we have a need for an additional Associate Project Manager on our team based out of our West Fargo office. This role will focus on larger scale multi-family residential and hospitality construction.

The ideal individual is someone with an electrical background who is an excellent communicator. If you are motivated, organized, detail oriented, and driven to succeed we would like to have a conversation with you!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Administer high quality, timely and excellent customer service to promote the organization as an industry leader
• Research information and pricing from material suppliers to determine best pricing
• Coordinate and schedule locates, material deliveries
• Attend jobsite meetings and provide continual client updates and reporting to ensure customer expectations and business goals are achieved
• Submit change order requests for approval
• Stay up to date with current industry trends and techniques

General Requirements:

• +2 years of electrical experience (J-man preferred)
• Must be customer focused, flexible and reliable. Ability to handle multiple projects and work outside comfort zone to learn and grow.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present well interacting with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors in a professional way.
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers.
• Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively, while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to deadlines.
• Office software experience to include Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and other software as needed to view/edit blueprints/documents.
• Experience with Bluebeam, or ability to quickly learn.
• Must be able to read blueprints, architectural drawings, construction plans, contract documents, and Spec sheets.
